Spray-On & Drop-In Bed Liners in the Rio Grande Valley

A truck bed in South Texas takes a specific kind of abuse: sliding pallets and toolboxes, fertilizer and feed dust, chemical spills, sun that bakes plastic brittle, and abrasive grit ground into the floor. A good liner is the cheapest way to keep the bed from being destroyed by the work it was bought to do. We have installed liners for 38 years and will help you pick the right type.

Spray-On vs Drop-In

  • Spray-on liners — sprayed to the shape of the bed, so they do not shift, trap grit underneath, or leave gaps at the wheel wells. Best for beds that see abrasive or chemical loads.
  • Drop-in liners — pre-formed and quick to install, often lower cost, and good for lighter general use. The trade-off is that grit can work under the edges and the floor can hold moisture.

For working trucks, spray-on is usually the better long-term value. For a light-use truck that just needs scratch protection, a drop-in can make sense. We stock and install both.

Prep Is the Difference

A spray-on liner is only as good as the surface under it. That means scuffing the paint for adhesion, cleaning and degreasing, masking the rails and openings, and priming bare or repaired spots. Rushing prep is how liners peel in the sun a year later. We treat prep as the job, not the step before the job.

Beds That Work: Agriculture and Fleet

This is where liners earn their money. Feed, fertilizer, produce bins, tools, and equipment all slide and grind, and a fleet truck that loses its bed floor is a truck off the road. Our La Feria shop sits in the agricultural belt and coats farm and fleet beds regularly. If you run several vehicles, the commercial and fleet page explains how we schedule multi-truck work so you are not down a vehicle for a week.

Protection Above and Below

A liner protects the floor and walls; the right cover protects everything from sun, rain, and theft. Compare a locked truck cap for full-height security against a low-profile tonneau cover for quick access. Many customers do both — liner first, then a cover to match how the truck is used.
