Our McAllen shop sits at 810 E US Highway 83, right on the main east–west corridor that carries the Upper Valley from Mission through McAllen, Pharr, and Edinburg. A short drive from the Pharr–Reynosa International Bridge and the Anzalduas crossing, this end of the Valley runs on cross-border freight, dealer lots, and warehouse traffic — pickups that spend long hot days in stop-and-go with a load on. Texas Tops has outfitted Valley trucks for 38 years, and this location is our Upper Valley home base.
What We Do in McAllen
Because so many trucks here work for a living, the McAllen shop leans toward hardware that holds up under constant payload and heat. We install lift kits and suspension for clearance and load control, and we fit truck caps that turn an open work truck into a locked, weather-tight parts runner. For beds that haul tools, pallets, and equipment every day, we spray bed liners that resist dents, scratches, and chemical spills.

Our McAllen shop is open:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
For a lift, cap, or liner install we recommend calling ahead so the parts you want are on hand. Walk-ins are welcome for smaller jobs and questions, but a call to (956) 682-1148 is the fastest way to get on the schedule.
What to Bring
To get the right recommendation the first time, bring your truck and a little information about it:
- Your current wheel and tire size, if you know it, plus whether you plan to change either.
- Photos of the truck from the front, side, and bed if you are asking about a cap or liner before you can come in.
- How you use the truck — daily freeway driving, warehouse work, towing, or weekend trails.
- Any symptoms you want a tech to look at: a shimmy, a sag, a noise, or a leak.
